Japanese Music

Japanese Music

Japan Festival guests are invited to an introduction to Japanese j-pop and j-rock music. Japanese music videos will also be shown on a big screen. At 2pm on the main stage of Háskólatorg the Japanese band Tansuygyo (Freshwater fish) play a few songs.

Japanese Cuisine

Japanese Cuisine

The cuisine-booth will be offering samples of japanese food to Festival attendees. The owner of the renowned SuZushii, a certified sushi master, Sigurður Karl Guðgeirsson, will assist the students of Japanese Language and Culture preparing and serving high-quality sushi, as well as other small courses traditional to the Japanese. First come, first served!
